Supported devices
URMS works with routers that speak TR-069 (CWMP) and let you enter your own ACS address. We only call a model verified after it has run on our platform.
Verified on URMS
Connected to the production platform and tested on real hardware: check-in, zero-touch STUN setup, instant refresh, status, Wi-Fi and connected devices.
| Status | Router | Hardware and firmware | Data model | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Verified | Cudy M3000 AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 mesh router |
V2.0, firmware 2.5.28 |
TR-098 | Verified: monitoring, instant refresh over STUN (about 2 s), Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz and guest networks, connected devices. Wi-Fi changes, reboot and firmware upgrade are implemented but not yet confirmed on this model. LAN/DHCP settings are not exposed over TR-069, and mesh satellites don't appear in the main router's TR-069 data. |
Planned and expected to work
These vendors document a TR-069 client that can point at a custom ACS. We have not yet tested them on URMS. Data models differ between vendors, so some features may need work per model.
| Status | Vendor | Examples | What you need |
|---|---|---|---|
| Planned | Cudy, other routers | Wi-Fi and mesh routers with System > TR-069; xPON routers | Stock firmware with the TR-069 page |
| Planned | MikroTik | RouterOS 7 devices | The optional tr069-client package |
| Planned | TP-Link | Archer C6, C80, AX10, AX23; operator lines EX, HX, VX | Firmware with TR-069; some models need ISP firmware from TP-Link |
| Planned | Teltonika | RUT240, RUT360, RUT145 | RutOS with the TR-069 package |
| Planned | Zyxel | Service-provider CPE (VMG, DX, DM series) | Service-provider firmware |
| Planned | DrayTek | Vigor routers | TR-069 settings in the web interface |
| Planned | Grandstream | HT8xx analogue telephone adapters | TR-069 settings in the web interface |
| Planned | Fibre ONTs | Huawei, FiberHome, Genexis models with TR-069 | Operator firmware that allows a custom ACS |
Usually not possible
Some equipment can't be managed by an independent ACS, through no fault of URMS:
Carrier-locked gateways
Gateways supplied by large carriers are usually locked to the carrier's own management server.
Cloud-only ecosystems
Systems managed only through their maker's own cloud, such as UniFi, eero, Google Nest Wifi or Plume, have no TR-069 client to point at us.
